About the role

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to shape the user experience and visual interface of our first mobile RPG launching in 2026.


As a key member of the design team, you will collaborate closely with tech and art to deliver an intuitive and engaging user experience and develop a polished and cohesive UI art style that elevates the overall game direction. Your responsibility will be to create the full UI system and game assets, supported by research, prototyping, and implementation.

You will achieve this through user and competitor research, creating intuitive user flows and prototypes, and finalizing designs and assets including interactivity, transitions, and effects. Ideally, you will implement the assets in Unity yourself and feel comfortable iterating directly in-engine to refine them.

This role is ideal for someone who is strong in both UX and visual UI execution, values collaboration and brings constructive communication to a cross-functional team
 

Desirable skills and knowledge

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience

  • Senior UI/UX role on at least one published Mobile Game

  • Strong understanding of design principles, user psychology, wireframing/prototyping, interaction design, and inclusive design

  • Experience in creating a style guide for asset sizes, colors, and fonts in coherence with the game's art direction

  • Experience designing for multiple screen sizes and devices

  • Pragmatic approach to asset production and willingness to embrace new technologies

  • Experience with prototyping

  • Experience with mid-core mobile game design

  • Experience with Unity UI implementation

  • Proficiency in Figma & Adobe Creative Suite or similar software

  • Great cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Proactive and pragmatic mentality

  • Strong visual UI craft and attention to detail in layout, composition, and polish

  • Ability to present ideas constructively, receive feedback well, and support collective decision-making

Role responsibilities

  • Engage in use and competitor research

  • Create flowcharts, wireframes and prototypes

  • Create design guidelines, style sheets, and color schemes

  • Create high-quality layouts and UI assets, ensuring consistency with the game’s art direction

  • Implement assets in Unity and create interactions, transitions, and effects in the system

  • Collaborate with the tech team to create a solid and performant UI system for the game and discuss tools and pipelines

  • Contribute to a positive team environment through clear communication, openness to feedback, and proactive collaboration

  • Work independently when needed while maintaining strong alignment with the team
